About Us

Little Kiwis Early Learning Centre offers a rich and educational programme for children aged 0—5 years old.

We are based on the Christian value of (Aroha) LOVE—for God, Jesus Christ, ourselves and each other. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). We believe that growing up with God’s love builds and prepares our children for their future.

Our centre is architecturally designed and purpose-built for providing a safe, caring and secure environment for your child. We are licensed and air-conditioned, with a smoke-free environment. Nutritious meals are provided via professional children’s catering, so that children can receive all their daily health needs, both physically and intellectually.

We have families, children, and staff of a wide variety of ethnicities at Little Kiwis, and this contributes to our multicultural voice – enabling the children to grow and learn amidst the rich multiculture that represents Aotearoa. Little Kiwis not only celebrates the cultural diversity of our community, but we also respect and engage in the bicultural aspects of everyday learning, working with children regularly using Te Reo Maori.

Our teachers are passionate for children’s learning, and equally dedicated to serving the needs of each family in our community. We carefully design and review individual planning for each child’s learning interest, to ensure that children’s developmental needs are being met. The New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whariki, is used to develop children’s learning experiences and educational opportunities.

We strongly believe that with the friendly, exciting and nurturing environment provided at Little Kiwis, your child will have a great start in life! We welcome any queries or concerns you may have; please feel free to talk to our staff or visit our centre at any time during operating hours.
