Christian Theme- Prayer (April)

To have a prayer life means communication with God;  just like a child would come talk to his father and mother, God wants us to come to Him for everything. As we draw closer to Him we will discover the supreme power of God. Prayer leads us into dependence on Him and when we declare before God, we know that God will lead us to a victorious life. Prayer makes us grow stronger in faith and it makes all things possible. This month, we will learn how incredible it is that we can be as close to God as we want to be. Jesus died because of God’s great love for us and … Continue reading »

Christian Theme: Dream Works (March)

This term, we learnt that it’s important to have dreams and talked about the ways that can help us to make our dreams come true. This month we will talk about how God has a special plan for each one of us. He has already put our dreams inside our hearts even before we were born, and as long as we trust Him, He will guide us and help us to find our dreams! March Memory Verse: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you…thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)

Christian Theme: Dream Works (February)

John 10:10 (NIV) says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy…” This suggests that our dreams are bound to be subject to challenges. But the process of getting to our destination is more important than reaching the end of our destination. A child with a great attitude does not give up in the face of adversity. A wise child will know what is the best way to protect their dreams. In February we will assist children to be passionate about achieving their dreams, to develop skills that can help fulfilling their dreams, and to have the right attitude in learning!   February Memory Verse: “Without dreams, the … Continue reading »

Christian Theme: Dream Works (January)

Last year, we talked to our children about how they can have dreams and how God can make their dreams come true. Now at the beginning of 2012, we will be discussing our dreams again. This time we will also guide children towards not giving up on their dreams easily. We will emphasize on the importance of children holding onto their dreams by associating with the right friends and people – those who encourage them to pursue their dreams despite all odds, and to not be afraid to work hard. Bible Memory Verse, “Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” Galatians 6:7 (NKJV)

Christian Theme: Time Zone (October & November)

Carpe Diem”, seize the day! In this month we will be teaching children that every moment they live on this earth is important. We will show them how to live their lives wisely, to make the better choices in whatever they do and to spend less time worrying. Jesus says worrying doesn’t add an extra hour to our life. It doesn’t stall time, but it robs us of the joy of living to the fullest!   Bible Memory Verse:  “So be very careful how you live… live like people who are wise.” Ephesians 5:15

Christian Theme: SMART (August & September)

What is the best way to train smart and godly children? Proverbs 22:6 says that we ought to train up a child in the way they should go, and when they grow up they will not depart from it. This verse promises that children will never depart from the correct way if they are properly trained in it. We believe that as teachers, we have committed to train our children up to be smart and godly. The key is to raise children with strong Emotional Intelligence (EQ). This month we will help children to develop strong EQ by encouraging them to be accepting and accommodating. They will learn how to … Continue reading »
