Trip to MOTAT

Posted by on 14 June 2013

In Term 2, the Sky and Ocean Room will go on a trip to MOTAT (Museum of Transport and Technology), as a continuation of children’s current interest in motion and speed. In the month of May, many children developed skills and interests in building racing tracks, bridges, slides, along with vehicles with different shapes and sizes of blocks, puzzles, recycled cardboard boxes, bottle lids and other resources available at the Centre.

The children not only learnt the skills to create and construct, but also gained knowledge and experience in problem solving, reasoning, and thinking while modifying their race tracks or vehicles. We believe that the trip to MOTAT can further extend their experience in transportation and technology, and also provide a fun day for the family members to join the learning journey with their children.
